Originally from Newburyport, MA, Dr. Ali Cisto moved to Florida at a young age. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. She loves sports of all kinds, and grew up playing softball, and competed on the club softball team at Florida State. After completing her undergraduate degree, Dr. Ali attended the University of Saint Augustine, graduating with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011. Her clinical training took place locally in several settings throughout Florida, and culminated in Seattle, Washington. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Ali moved to Boston and began practicing. After a move to Maryland for several years, she returned back to Massachusetts and has been practicing in the state since.

Dr. Ali was inspired to pursue physical therapy after requiring treatment herself after breaking her ankle in high school. She loved the rapport she had developed during the rehabilitation process with her PT team. This experience combined with her interest in science & anatomy made the path to becoming a physical therapist come naturally.

Dr. Ali loves to combine hands-on therapy with individualized strengthening & stabilization exercises. Her goal is to tailor the patient’s treatment to maximize their function and get them back to the things they love. She is certified in dry needling through myopain seminars. She enjoys treating a variety of diagnoses, but has a special interest in TMJ dysfunction.

Dr. Ali recently relocated to Wrentham with her husband Matt, son Cooper, and dog Tank. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, watching sports, and hiking. Although her time in Massachusetts as a child was short, rest assured she is still a huge New England sports fan!
