What Is Kinesiotaping and McConnell Taping Therapy?
Kinesio Tape (KT), or kinesiology tape, is a newly popularized modality that is used by therapists trained in the Kinesio Taping Method by Certified Kinesio Taping Instructors (CKTI).
Kinesio Tape is a latex-free hypoallergenic cotton fiber tape with an acrylic heat-activated backing that stretches only along its longitudinal axis.
The McConnell Taping Method is a technique that tapes body parts to affect a specific biomechanical movement.

Benefits of Kinesiotaping and McConnell Taping:
It is more economical over time than other modalities, it is easy to learn and apply, there are less types of tape, and it may be used over a longer period of time. The Kinesio Taping Method differs from athletic strapping tape and the traditional McConnell Taping Method.
The McConnell Taping Method is a technique that tapes body parts to affect a specific biomechanical movement.
McConnell Tape uses a very rigid, highly adhesive tape that is applied for no more than 18 hours and often for shorter periods of time due to patient discomfort.

What Our Clients Say
I would not even consider going to any other Physical Therapy experts. I didn’t think my neck pain would ever be alleviated, but I’m happy to say, it most definitely has been! Prior to coming here, I had difficulty turning my head backwards when I needed to back out of a space and simply checking to see if anyone was in my blind spot while driving on a highway. That safety issue was concerning, but I have no trouble with either difficulty. I’ve been coming here for years for different reasons, particularly after surgeries! I would not even consider going to any other Physical Therapy experts, because the care I’ve gotten here has been so consistently excellent. I have been to Professional Physical Therapy twice now for injuries I have had. Both times were phenomenal. The entire staff is very friendly and professional and they get you in for therapy no matter how busy your schedule is. Dr. Juliana Ross is my DPT. Dr Ross is Awesome. She is very happy and friendly and knows what she is doing. I have been dealing with a very tough sprained ankle and Dr. Ross is making it so I can function throughout my day. Without Dr. Ross’s help as well as the help from the entire staff of Professional Physical Therapy I would not be working. I highly recommend them to everyone who needs any kind of Physical Therapy. Now with 2 locations it’s easier to help more people. I look forward going to PT every week. Thank you Dr. Ross
