What Is Kinesiotaping and McConnell Taping Therapy?

Kinesio Tape (KT), or kinesiology tape, is a newly popularized modality that is used by therapists trained in the Kinesio Taping Method by Certified Kinesio Taping Instructors (CKTI).

Kinesio Tape is a latex-free hypoallergenic cotton fiber tape with an acrylic heat-activated backing that stretches only along its longitudinal axis.

The McConnell Taping Method is a technique that tapes body parts to affect a specific biomechanical movement.

What Our Clients Say

I know what to do to remain pain-free.

I’m not sure how I injured my shoulder but I had been in pain for about two years. I saw an AD on Facebook for a Free Shoulder Pain Workshop at Professional Physical Therapy.
It was very informative and I decided to try therapy. From the beginning of the Free Discovery Visit, it helped. I was in less pain and learned what not to do along with exercises to improve my shoulder. In the end, I feel 95% better and now know what to do to remain pain-free.

I wouldn’t have recovered without it.

When I started physical therapy my herniated disc prevented me from walking without a limp. I could not sit down without extreme pain in my lower back and down my left leg. The sciatic pain could be felt all the way down to my toes. The only comfort I found was lying on my stomach. I started seeing progress here after about 4 weeks. I suffered a setback at about 6 weeks and started to lose hope. Shortly after the setback I recovered quickly and made a full recovery. The sciatica is fully gone. I lived with the pain for 3 months before starting PT and now I know I wouldn’t have recovered without it. Thank you to the whole team.
